[Letter] 1850 Oct. 1, Shelbyville, Ky. to Somerville Broaddus [i.e. Broadus] / W.F. Broaddus. 1850.

Broaddus wrote to his sister-in-law, the second wife of Edmund Broadus, concerning the death of his wife, Mary Ann (died Sept. 8, 1850) and son, Crawford (died Aug. 1, 1850), after hearing of the death of his brother, on June 27, 1850. Somerville Broadus had married Edmund in January 1849.
